What if I need to pause or cancel?

Cancel anytime from Settings — no email, no chat, no "retention specialist." Your data stays available for 30 days in case you come back, then it's permanently deleted. You can also pause a subscription for up to 3 months and keep your plan intact.

Security & privacy

02 · 2 Qs
Do you connect to my bank?

Optionally. You can type balances in manually and WJP works perfectly. If you link your bank, we use read-only connections via Plaid — the same secure bridge used by Venmo, Coinbase, Robinhood, and most major fintechs. We can never move money, and we never store your bank login.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We don't sell data, don't serve ads, and don't run analytics on third-party trackers. You can export everything as CSV or delete your account (and all data) in one click from Settings.

1 TLS 1.3 in transit — every byte between your device and our servers Active
2 AES-256 at rest — industry-standard storage encryption Active
3 Plaid read-only — we can't move money or see your password Active
4 Optional MFA — add a second factor to your WJP login Available

Snowball vs. avalanche — which should I use?

Avalanche saves more money mathematically — you pay off highest-APR debts first. Snowball feels more motivating because you clear small balances first, which builds momentum. WJP shows you both side-by-side, and many people use a hybrid approach. There's no wrong answer if you stick to the plan.

What debts does WJP track?

Credit cards, personal loans, student loans, auto loans, mortgages, medical debt, and BNPL plans (Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna). Basically: anything with a balance and an interest rate. If it can be paid off, WJP can track it and plan for it.

Do you report to credit bureaus?

No — WJP is a tracking and planning tool, not a lender. We don't report to bureaus because we don't lend. You can see your own credit score inside WJP (pulled via your banks' feeds when available), but we never send data to Equifax, TransUnion, or Experian.

Can I use WJP with my partner or family?

Shared households are on the roadmap — currently in closed beta. For now, WJP is designed for individual accounts. Contact us if you want early access to multi-user mode.

Team & company

04 · 1 Q
Who's behind WJP?

An independent team — not a bank, not a lender, not a BNPL company. We make money from a single optional Pro tier. That's our only business model, and it keeps our incentives aligned with yours: we only do well when you actually pay off your debt. We're not optimizing for you to carry a balance or refinance into another loan.

Platform & access

05 · 1 Q
Is there a mobile app?

Not yet — the web app is designed mobile-first, so you can use it from any phone browser today and it feels native. Native iOS and Android apps are in development and will ship with the same account you use now. No data migration, no new sign-up.
